A marketplace for hiring freelancers and agencies: customers post a project free and get up to three verified quotes, compared side by side.
The challenge
Most lead sites earn more when more professionals pay to contact the same customer, so the customer's phone rings ten times and professionals pay for leads that go nowhere. VouchQuote set out to be fairer to both sides: a customer posts a project once, at most three verified professionals can quote, and every quote is easy to compare.
What we did
Our approach
- 01
Three quotes, never more
Every job closes to other professionals once three quotes are in. Customers get a short list instead of a flood of calls, and professionals know they are competing with two others, not twenty.
- 02
Quotes built to be compared
Each quote carries a price breakdown, a timeline and a warranty, shown side by side next to a fair local price range, so customers choose on value and not only on price.
- 03
Trust on both sides
Customers confirm their email with a one-time code before a request goes out, the team reads every request before it is published, companies can be checked for a Company verified badge, and both sides can review each other after a hire.
- 04
A fair model for professionals
Professionals pay one flat monthly plan instead of buying credits per lead, and a quote the customer never answers is returned to their allowance after 72 hours.
- 05
Content that brings customers in
Cost calculators for each service and price guides for India, the US and the UK answer the question buyers search first, how much will this cost, and lead them into posting a project.
